Gerakan Pramuka Kwarcab Kabupaten Demak membagikan ribuan masker dan handsanitizer pada Hari Minggu, tanggal 10 Mei 2020 di 27 puskesmas se-Kabupaten Demak. Aksi Pramuka Peduli (Pramuli) Covid-19 dimaksudkan membantu pemerintah memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus Covid-19 (Corona), sekaligus mengedukasi masyarakat agar menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS).
Ketua Pramuli Covid-19 Kwarcab Kabupaten Demak Arief Sudaryanto menjelaskan, meningkatnya kasus positif covid-19 di Kabupaten Demak menjadi keprihatinan bersama. Maka Pramuli secara rutin melakukan sosialisasi ke desa-desa membantu Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19 Kabupaten Demak dan sosialiasi ke masyarakat tentang pentingnya menerapkan pola hidup bersih untuk pencegahan penularan virus Covid-19 (Corona).
Adapun materi sosialisasi Pramuli yang dilaksanakan secara mobile sambil membagikan ribuan masker gratis pada masyarakat itu meliputi anjuran tinggal di rumah, memakai masker ketika terpaksa keluar rumah, serta kebiasaan mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun sebelum dan setelah berkegiatan. Di samping juga menjaga jarak jika terpaksa berada di kerumunan, serta menerapkan PHBS.
Sedangkan mengenai pembagian masker nonmedis dan handsanitizer di 27 puskesmas, dimaksudkan membantu masyarakat yang lupa memakai masker namun mengharuskannya periksa kesehatan di puskesmas. Maka Parmuli menyerahkan bantuan masing-masing 100 masker di 27 puskesmas berikut handsanitizer, agar para nakes juga terlindungi dari penularan covid-19 saat memeriksa pasien.
