Rapat antisipasi penyebaran Virus Corona (COVID-19) Kadisporapar Jateng (Drs. Sinoeng N Rachmadi, MM.) bersama Jajaran Pimpinan Disporapar Jateng dengan hasil rapat sebagai berikut:
Pekan Olahraga Pelajar Daerah (POPDA) Jateng yang semula akan diselenggarakan pada:
a. POPDA SMA sederajat tanggal 16-19 Maret 2020
b. POPDA SD sederajat 20-23 April 2020
c. POPDA SMP sederajat tanggal 22-25 Juni 2020
Dengan pertimbangan Virus Corona (Covid-19) sebagai pandemik dan antisipasi semua terhadap percepatan penyebaran virus dimaksud, maka Disporapar Jateng “memutuskan untuk menunda seluruh kegiatan POPDA Tingkat Provinsi Jawa Tengah tahun 2020, sampai dengan adanya pemberitahuan berikutnya”.
Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka atas nama Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan Panitia penyelenggara menyampaikan permohonan maaf atas penundaan kegiatan dimaksud dan besar harapan untuk pembinaan olahraga di daerah tetap berjalan seperti biasa dengan mengedepankan pola hidup sehat.
