Hari ini Tim Indonesia Cabang Olahraga Perahu Naga mengharumkan nama Indonesia, hal ini dikarenakan Tim Indonesia meraih Medali Emas nomer Perahu Naga dengan jarak1000 M di Kejuaraan Dunia Tahiland. Dan salah satu atlet tim Indonesia yang berasal dari Kabupaten Demak sekaligus staf DINPORA Kabupaten Demak (Tri Wahyu Bawono) memakai medali dan membawa bendera merah putih. Kejuaraan Dunia Perahu Naga dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 s/d 25 Agustus 2019 di Thailand.
Suasanan mengharukan saat Bendera merah putih dikibarkan dan lagu Indonesia dikumandangkan di Negeri orang dalam Kejuaraan Dunia Perahu Naga di Thailand.
