Natsir) didampingi Wakil Bupati Demak (Drs. Joko Sutanto), Rombongan dari Kemenpora dan jajaran Forkopimda membuka acara Gowes Nusantara 2019 Etape Demak Kota Wali dengan mengibarkan bendera Start, sebelumnya Bupati Demak dan perwakilan dari Kemenpora memberikan sambutan dan apresiasi kepada masyarakat khususnya warga Demak untuk berolahraga dengan Bersepeda karena selain murah bersepeda juga membuat tubuh menjadi bugar dan sehat serta mengurangi populasi pengendara sepeda motor. Masyarakat Demak sangat antusias mengikuti Gowes Nusantara mulai dari pelajar, OPD, dan masyarakat umum. Selain warga Demak, komunitas dari luar Kabupaten Demak juga antusias mengikuti Gowes Nusantara 2019.
